Founded in 1981 in Grand Forks, ND, S&S Transport, Inc. is a privately held transportation firm. Within recent years, we have expanded our operation to Janesville, Wisconsin and Anniston, Alabama. With 40 years of experience in shipping a wide variety of durable goods throughout North America, we have evolved into one of the most modern, well-equipped trucking companies in the United States.
In 1993, we received our DBE and WBE certifications. These certifications were obtained to provide a unique service to our customers who have bids that require the use of a DBE/WBE contractor to complete a project.
We’re proud to offer reefer and dry van truckload services, full-service logistics, consolidated transportation, regional transportation, dedicated fleet operations, yard management, off-site storage, warehousing and much more – all of which help us provide your business with the most efficient, dependable supply chain partner available.
At S&S Transport, we employ only the best drivers, exercising a strict applicant screening process to assure that our most important assets will live up to our requirements of excellence. History

Our Journey Began in 1981

In over 35 years, we’ve evolved from a small trucking operation with 2 employees and a borrowed truck to one of the most modern, well-equipped freight carriers in the Midwest today. We now offer a variety of trucking services, including refrigerated shipping, dry van trucking, regional trucking, dedicated fleet contracting, warehousing, and more.

In 1993, we received certification as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)/Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). This certification was obtained to provide a unique service to our customers who have bids that require the use of a DBE/WBE contractor to complete a project.
